Radio System FAQ How do I setup Triple Rates on my 8FG? To set up dual rates, go to Dual Rate screen in the Model menu. Drop down one space where you will see the selection for the surfaces you are going to setup. Touch RTN and scroll until you see have the Ail, Ele, or Rudder that you are wanting to set up. At the bottom of your screen you will see an arrow pointing to the number 1. This will be your first rate or the AFR. This is what you would have already set in the End Point screen in the Linkage menu. Scroll over once until you highlight the space below number 2. This is your switch selection point. Press RTN and go into the switch selection screen. You set this to the switch of your choice. Back out of this screen by tapping RTN twice. While you are at the Dual Rate menu page, move the switch you selected to the center or down position, you will then scroll up to the rates and with the switch still in the center or down position, change these rates as desired. Now you have your AFR's position as full throw, bottom is low throw or dual rates on that control surface. Then go back to the Dual Rate menu and go to the switch below the number 3 at the bottom of the page and set this to the same switch but with the activation point in the full Down position. Now you simply set this third rate the same as you did above. Now you have your AFR's position as full throw, bottom is low throw or dual rates on that control surface. By following this for your other surfaces, Ailerons, Elevators and Rudder, you can have triple rates all on one Condition. |
