FASST Technology FAQ Are the IC chips used in Futaba really different from other ones that are being used, and if so, how? Futaba has utilized 2.4GHz spread spectrum technology in their industrial R/C applications for almost 15 years. The decision was made to invest time in researching and developing a customized chip, which offers optimized performance specifically for R/C demands. This is not a chip that is manufactured for various other uses and as such, been incorporated into the FASST design. That is, it is not sold "off the shelf" as you might find elsewhere. |
